The Brits 2007!
Wednesday 14th, valentines day, saw the return to live broadcast of The Brit Awards.
Presented by the hilarious & ridiculous Russell Brand, with his crude jokes about Robbie Williams, The Queen & Iraq. With a performance from Corinne Bailey Rae as well as a great night for Timbaland, with Nelly Furtado & Justin Timbalake winning awards it was a good show. Another quality winner was Amy Winehouse, this girl is great, she has a lot of attitude & uses it well.
There were a few bad points, or people, Noel Gallagher not being able to behave himself after his supposed verbal abuse of Jake Shears from the Scissor Sisters & his rants about politics that were not exactly needed.
As if this wasn't enough for the night, Lily "coz i is black" Allen decided to take a dig at the fantastic Corinne Bailey Rae saying that "I don't care who wins the award as long as it ain't her", good music but no style or class, back to the pretend ghetto little girl.
There were some deserved winners & some utterly poor choices, namely from Radio1 listeners, anyway, make up your own mind with the list of winners & losers below.

Here is the new track from Bobby Valentino's up coming album, it's called Anonymous & is produced by Timbaland, so obviously it has the tightest production & a class beat... I'm liking it a lot.

The "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul" Mary J Blige has won 3 awards at the Grammy Awards, after she was nominated for a massive 8!
She won best R&B song & best R&B vocal performance for her massive hit "Be Without You", also best R&B album for the fantastic record "The Breakthrough"
In an emotional speech she said "I thank you so much, for so many years I have been talked about negatively but this time I'm being talked about positively by so many people. This is a great night for me."
Unfortunately, UK hopeful & all round star Corinne Bailey Rae missed out on her award after being nominated for best new artist.
"NEW" Alicia Keys???
Here is the supposed "new" single from Alicia Keys that has been leaked from her new album expected later this year, it is entitled "Sweet Music" & it sounds pretty sweet... X-Factor winner & upcoming megastar Leona Lewis has struck a £5 million record deal with Clive Davis, the talent spotter who found Whitney Houston.
Lewis, aged just 21, said: "I am just overwhelmed. I can't believe everything has happened so fast, from winning the X Factor to coming to LA."
The deal will see Leona release 5 albums under Davis but will continue to work with her manager Simon Cowell, who has always maintained that Lewis is the next Whitney or Mariah.
Lewis will begin the production of her first studio album in April.
