Just Short Of It's October 2nd Release Date, Here Is The Leak From 17 Year Old "Soulja Boy".

"Crank That" has still not hit UK shores, even though it has stormed the US, I don't know of any confirmed release date, but I think it would be crazy not to bring a sure fire hit to a bigger audience. However annoying it may be.

I don't hold much expectation for "Soulja Boy Tellem", but I will give it a listen, if any one would like to write a review, or give your opinion on the album, either drop me an email at: mark@urbanreview.co.uk or leave a comment below. I will give full credits on any material I publish.

Here Is An Album I Can't Quite Make My Mind Up About, So I Thought I'd Post It & See What You Guys Think?

I like "T-Pain's" recording voice, through his auto-tuner, but can't make my mind up whether that is good enough to actually like the album. He is in such hot demand to write & appear on tracks by serious artists, like "Kanye West", so that must give him some points. But still when he sings with computer aids, it makes him no better than "J-Lo", a fellow 'autotune artist'.

I don't even think he needs the tuner, as his live performances are really solid.

Take a listen to his album & let me know what you think, Remember To Grab The Retail Version If You Like It. If you would like to write a review of this album, it will help me out at a busy time & I will happily post it & give you full credits, just drop me an email: mark@urbanreview.co.uk

"M.I.A - Kala"

Posted In: , , , , , , . By M@rk

Multi-Genre Artist "M.I.A" Returns With Here Second Album, & It Is Just As Bizarre As The First.

The British born star is currently prepping the release of "Kala", which features production from my two favourite producers; "Timbaland" & "Bangladesh", I have managed to obtain & leaked copy & have given it a listen.

The predominantly 'electronic' album is full of rich beats & sometimes 'eerie' sounds, which accumulate in an album that is strangely addictive. Highlights include; "Bird Flu", "Boyz" & "Come Around" which is also featured on Timbaland's UK release of "Shock Value".

This is definately not for the mainstream audience, but M.I.A has always acquired a devoted, cult following who will surely enjoy this offering, I am a fan of her innovation & love the different, unique sound that she always produces. This is not normally my 'sort' of album, but I still enjoyed listening to it & will continue to do so for some time to come.

Personally, I would like to see M.I.A & Tim do a full album together as this combination offers the best from both parties, the Tim produced tracks are generally the better ones from the album & provide that 'listen again' factor that I really like.

I Urge You To Give The Album A listen, It's Strange, 'Mystic' Sounds Are Something Very Different. I Would Love To know What You Guys Make of It.

LISTEN: "M.I.A - Kala"

  1. Bamboo Banga
  2. Bird Flu
  3. Boyz
  4. Jimmy
  5. Hussel ft. Afrikan Boy
  6. Mango Pickle Down River ft. The Wilcannia Mob
  7. 20 Dollar
  8. World Town
  9. The Turn
  10. XR2
  11. Paper Planes
  12. Come Around ft. Timbaland

Here Is A High Quality Leak Of "Sean Kingston's" Debut Album.

I am currently 7 tracks into the album as I write this & I can say that I have liked everyone so far, this could be a perfect summer album. Now "Beautiful Girls" is making waves in the UK, everyone I know loves that track, I only hope that Sean's album can live up to the hype.

Expect a review in the coming week, for now check out the link below & remember, if you like it, go buy it.

Heard It Yet, Like It?

Without a doubt the best news I have heard this year so far, the upcoming release of Timbaland's next album "Shock Value", I have personally already preordered this and my predictions are that this album will be my album of the year, if not of the century lol. It is reported that it will feature the following artists:

I'm most interested in hearing the reunited force that is Tim & Missy. There is no one else on the planet that would dare try to bring all these different styles together on one LP, and I personally cannot wait to get my hands on it. The first single from the album, "Give It To Me" featuring vocals from Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake, who Tim has already produced for back in 2006, has already been leaked onto the net (not that I would download it illegally lol) and it sounds fantastic.

Tragically I'm sure this album will not get the credit or media coverage that it deserves as producer's albums have never been well received by the "pop" buying public, especially in the here in the UK, as shown by the release of Pharrell Williams album last year. Never the less, for talent appreciating peeps like myself this album will sounding our ears for the majority of 2007. Keep It Coming..!
