It's Been A Very Heavy Week For Videos, & It Doesn't Have Any Sign Of Stopping Yet. So Here Is The Video For "Sean Kingston's" 3rd Single; "Take You There".

While Sean is not receiving the highest critical acclaim for his efforts, I think this track may start to change peoples opinions, if only slightly. While his past two tracks have been very 'Poppy', Take You There moves over a just little further into the Hip-Hop market, with its solid production & wicked beats.

The video is pretty standard, nice setting, Kingston dancing in a way only he can & lots of good looking women. I find it very hard to hate on anything this guy does & I'm sure he will continue his reign over the charts in the year to come.

What Do You Think Of The Track & The Video,
Let Me Know?

Here Is The Brand New Video From New Kid On The Block "Sean Kingston".

"Me Love" will be the second single to be released from his self-titled album, I am not loving the track, although I do love the album, I think he needs to release something a bit more 'respectable'. His album is full of solid, modern 'Hip-Pop' tracks, good production & that addictive 'listen again' factor that makes for a very good debut.

The video is pretty cool, more of the same really, reminds me of the "Beautiful Girls" vid a little, this obviously adds familiarity to Sean's look & feel, which will get people to associate the two tracks. I like Sean, he is something different, rather than going for the 'Gansta' look, which he could easily pull off, he is somewhat less 'offensive', which is a rare thing in urban music.

Kisean Anderson, now far better known as "Sean Kingston" is a rapper / singer from Jamaica, his debut single "Beautiful Girls" has been a huge smash hit in both the US & UK, my first thoughts were 'one hit wonder'. But to my surprise his self titled album is so solid, contains so much promise & talent, that I can see Sean being a real star of the urban scene for many years to come.

The album itself, produced by "Jonathan Rotem" (referred to throughout as 'J.R'), is a strong, constant album, from first listen I was so surprised. I could not believe this was a debut, one of the best debuts I have ever heard, it does not have a bad track, period. The record only contains a few collaborations, this is definately a plus, it shows Kingston's confidence as a person and a perform, it also let's us hear his potential, not even "Snoop" makes an appearance, lol.

The best tracks on the album are debatable, simply because there are so many. "Kingston" is a very hot track with Sean playing a very powerful role, the production is top quality & it has a extremely sick beat. The debut single "Beautiful Girls" is a very radio friendly track, it has a cool summer vibe, but doesn't show Sean as a 'respectable' artist. The best track for me by far is "Dry Your Eyes", which is dedicated to Sean's mother who is currently in jail. This track is both emotional while remaining very strong in production, lyrics & vocals, it shows Sean as a really strong artist, a definate favourite that I urge you to listen to.

Down sides to the album are very few & far between. There is a certain air of 'pop' to this album, that I felt was not needed, it will obviously allow Sean to reach a radio audience, but I think the record is so strong that it did not require tracks like "Me Love" or "There's Nothing". It feels to me as though he was almost forced into these songs, as they don't have the same flow or energy as some of the other tracks.

Overall, this is a huge record, I really recommend it, it is the perfect summer album. Sean manages to take us deep & shows us a very serious, determined young artist, while still giving that 'feel good factor' that makes the record very listener friendly.

I cannot stress enough just how much this album shocked me, not just how professional it is, but how much potential is inside Kingston, he will remain on the scene for a long time to come, I am sure of it. This CD has not left my playlist since I first heard it, go out & grab this record. You will not be disappointed.

**** - 4 Stars

I am currently 7 tracks into the album as I write this & I can say that I have liked everyone so far, this could be a perfect summer album. Now "Beautiful Girls" is making waves in the UK, everyone I know loves that track, I only hope that Sean's album can live up to the hype.

Heard It Yet, Like It?

Yeah, I'm Really Behind On This Video.

Heard this track & saw this video a long time ago, but now it is going to see it's official release in the UK, so for all my UK readers, here is an introduction to "Sean Kingston".

Kingston is a 17 year old artist emerging from Jamaica with his smooth grooves & mellow beats, his first single "Beautiful Girls" samples "Ben E King's" hit, "Stand By Me". Sean's self titled debut album will see it's release at the end of July & is rumoured to feature colabs with "The Game" & "Vybz Kartel".

Can't wait to hear more from Kingston, this track has been a phenomenon in the US, now he is ready to blow in the UK. Watch Out For This Track!
