Sorry For The Lack Of Posts Over The Last Few Days, There Hasn't Really Been Anything Worth Your Time, I Think The Music World Took The Weekend Off Or Something. Now We Are Back On Track With The Latest Video From "Common".

Taking from his current critically acclaimed album "Finding Forever", Common returns with the aid of the UK's very own "Lily Allen". "Drivin' Me Wild" is a different flavour than we are used to with Common, it's radio friendly hook & vocal arrangement suit well to his rap style.

Although many people have recommended Common to me, I have never really felt his music, it's seems a little 'preachie' for my liking. In my opinion he doesn't hold the 'wow factor' of a Hip-Hop star, he lacks the energy of "Kanye" or the presence & style of "Jay".

None the less, I will not take anything away from this track, Lily's vocals add to a well written, well produced track, check it out & let me know what you think?

The Uk's Finest Soul Singer, Joss Stone Has Officially Broken The US With Her New Album "Introducing Joss Stone" Entering The Billboard Chart At Number 2, Just 11,000 Sales Off The Top Spot.

This comes as many UK artists have been appreciated in the US; Amy Winehouse is at number 10, while Corrine Bailey Rae is 22. Lily Alen has also received a respectful chart position at 41.

On the sleeve of her album, the usual place for thank yous, she directs fans to her website, where there is a 7,000 letter thank you list, in which she thanks:
"
Lauryn Hill, James Brown, footballer Vinnie Jones, her parents, pet dogs and God"

Good On Her. Crazy, Sexy, Cool. lol

Wednesday 14th, valentines day, saw the return to live broadcast of The Brit Awards.

Presented by the hilarious & ridiculous Russell Brand, with his crude jokes about Robbie Williams, The Queen & Iraq. With a performance from Corinne Bailey Rae as well as a great night for Timbaland, with Nelly Furtado & Justin Timbalake winning awards it was a good show. Another quality winner was Amy Winehouse, this girl is great, she has a lot of attitude & uses it well.

There were a few bad points, or people, Noel Gallagher not being able to behave himself after his supposed verbal abuse of Jake Shears from the Scissor Sisters & his rants about politics that were not exactly needed.
As if this wasn't enough for the night, Lily "coz i is black" Allen decided to take a dig at the fantastic Corinne Bailey Rae saying that "I don't care who wins the award as long as it ain't her", good music but no style or class, back to the pretend ghetto little girl.

There were some deserved winners & some utterly poor choices, namely from Radio1 listeners, anyway, make up your own mind with the list of winners & losers below.
