Here Is Reported To Be The Next Single From "Amerie's" Latest Album "Because I Love It".

It is entitled "Gotta Work" & will undoubtedly be a top #10 hit, & definately one of the highlights of the album. Amerie continues to deliver on her single choices, but the album itself is somewhat slow & not hugely enjoyable to listen to, I think it's one for the ladies, it's slow tracks are well produced & performed but they do get a little tedious.

This Is Set To Be The 4th Single From "Amy's" Hugely Critically Acclaimed Album "Back To Black".

The single choice from this album have been completely on-point, whoever is making the schedule decisions is definately doing a great job , although it's hardly a 'summer jam' this is a great track from an album that is set to become a modern classic.

Ever since first hearing "Rehab" I have fallen in love with Amy Winehouse's style & raw vocal talent. Although I wasn't a fan of her earlier work, I think she is one of the best artists to emerge from the UK in years & long may she continue her drunken reign of the charts (lol).

After Having My Vote For Best R&B Female Up For Some Time Now, There Is A Clear Winner.

In you opinion, "Beyonce Knowles" is the worlds best female R&B artist, beating off competition from the likes of "Whitney Houston" & "Alicia Keys".

Finally, After Hearing Snippets & Edited Versions, Here Is The Debut Single From "Kanye West's" New Album "Graduation"

This track is hot, a great hook, solid production & in true Kanye style, a brilliant sample. I think this will be a big hit for Mr West & cannot wait for the album to leak.

According To "Rap-Up.com" This Is To Be The Album Cover Of "Eve's" Long Awaited New Album "Here I Am".

I'm not so sure I like it, it's not really Eve's style, it's just not 'Loud' enough, it's quite grown up & it seems a little plain. Eve's new album is set to drop August 7th, grab a copy, I reckon it's going to be Hot.

Entertainment & Culture Magazine "Vanity Fair" Has Revealed It's Plans For July's Issue, It Will Be An "Africa Awareness Campaign.

Fronting this campaign & appearing on 21 different covers will be 21 different political & celebrity figures engaged in helping Africa or African people. These will include; George Bush, Bill & Melinda Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Jay Z & Alicia Keys.

I think this is a brilliant idea, in a growing climate of negativity in the world, an entertainment magazine is doing it's part to make a bit of a difference. Plus we get this fantastic shot of "Jay Z" & "Alicia Keys" (Below), I haven't seen Alicia on the music scene for some time, but she is looking absolutely stunning, can't wait to hear some new material.

You can check out the rest of the covers HERE.

R&B Songstress "Rihanna" Has Taken The Unusual Step Of Releasing A Bonus CD In The UK, Her Almost Entire Album, Remixed.

A very clever move in my opinion, she is obviously trying to get her album into the 'Club' scene, although her album is mostly full of up-tempo, energetic songs, the tracks are not quite 'Club Bangers'.

The CD itself is full of, middle of the road, professional remixes from different DJ's, I think it will go down quite well in the UK, with the 'Dance' scene being big business.

To be honest, the tracks are only semi descent at best, they are extremely 'samie', it's hard to tell one from the other, until the lyrics kick in. It is obvious that Riri had very little part in this, her tracks are simply cut up & mixed into repetitive beats, they feel somewhat 'Lifeless', & leave you just wanting to listen to the original album.

Apart from the negatives, I think this is a good ploy by Rihanna's people, a very unique idea that will spread Riri's sound across a different culture.

Akon Does It Again...

I'm Sure You All Remember The Controversy A Few Weeks Back, Over "Akon" & A Minor, Having A Little 'Fun', Well Now The Senegalese Star Is In More Trouble.

While performing at "KFEST" in New York, a spectator hurled a bottle of water at the 'Hip-Pop' star, & check his reaction...

I do understand why Akon did this, he was obviously angry, & rightly so, that guy was disrespectful to an artist who was just doing his job. But still, Akon has a position of responsibility & should have had the willpower to behave himself.

Either way, this is going to do no good to Akon's already controversial career, he needs to change his ways & be more chilled out, before it has a negative effect on his popularity.

Here Is The New, Full Length Track From Hip-Hop Royalty "Kanye West".

I posted a snippet of this track a week or so ago & I was liking it back then, now I absolutely love it! The production is so so slick, the most creative sample I have heard in a long time, & Mr West's lyrics are perfectly timed as usual.

Unfortunately, you have to put up with "Mark Ronson" making stupid noises all over it, but I guess he had to keep it an exclusive, so fair enough.

Let Me Know What You Think Of It?

Last Night, "MTV" Held Their Annual Movie Awards & MTV Just Wouldn't Be MTV Without Some Music Thrown In The Mix.

Among others, "Rihanna" performed her World Wide smash "Umbrella", after seeing her perform in the UK, i wasn't expecting a huge amount of improvement in quality but I was most definately wrong.

Riri seems to have come on leaps & bounds in her live performances, her stage presence, confidence & most importantly her vocals. Don't get me wrong, she's no "Mariah choreography in her " but it's great to feel an energy to her voice, rather than the almost lifeless renditions we are used to. Rihanna'sperformance was on-point as usual, & with the addition of "Jay Z" spiting his lyrics at the start, this was a stand out performance.

Rihanna's third album, which was released in the UK today is set to head straight for the number one spot, it is a strong offering, & with her obvious vocal improvement, plus her bounding confidence & charisma, it may soon be time for "Beyonce" to step aside as the Queen of R&B.

Here Is Some Fresh, Hot New Music From The UK.

For those who don't know, which will be most, "Mutya Buena" is a new UK solo artist making waves in the charts, she was formally of the British pop group "Sugababes". Many, including myself, simply laughed at her launching a solo career, a mediocre pop singer at best, I never though she would emerge with some good material.

Her current UK single "Real Girl", is getting big time airplay in the UK, now a new track has emerged, featuring the fantastic raw vocal's of fellow Brit "Amy Winehouse". It's a mid-tempo track which samples "The Ronettes'" "Be My Baby", I was surprised to say the least when I heard this song.

The quality & production on this track is good enough, with the solid vocals added it is a real stand out track, I feel I may soon be eating my words when it comes to Mutya, but only time will tell.
