Here Is The Official Album Cover For "Jay Z's" New Record; "American Gangster"

I am really feeling this cover, I think it really portrays what I think will be the mood & theme of the album. If you don't already know, American Gangster will accompany the movie of the same name that is due for release later this year.

After Far Too Long Waiting, The Undisputed 'Queen Of Hip-Hop/Soul' Returns With The First Single From Her Highly Anticipated New Album; "Growing Pains".

The first leak comes in the shape of a hot party track, titled "Just Fine" it personifies where "Mary" is in her life, after the "The Breakthrough", now she feels 'Just Fine', & shows it. The record has some hot production, with some feel good lyrics it makes for a definite happy song, & definite single material.

I cannot wait for Mary's new album to drop on November 27th, The Breakthrough was such a classic album from someone who continually works so hard & achieves greatness. Mary is a living legend.

Two Of The Charts Most Heavy Weight Stars Have United For A Huge Remix Of "Justin Timberlake's" Next Single.

"Until The End Of Time" was already a big winter tune, it's soft vocals, smooth melody & calming beats make for a sure fire hit. Now with the edition of a certain "Beyonce Knowles", the track has been transformed into a top notch duet.

The only downside, for Justin at least, is that Beyonce absolutely kills it on this track, she is far better at a slow pace than JT. I liked the track before, now I think that it should be a Beyonce Knowles exclusive.

As Some Of You Will Already Know, After Very Poor Sales Of "Kelly Rowland's" Latest Album, She Has Decided To Make A 'Special Edition', With New Material.

I am not a fan of any re-releases, I think it cheats the real fans who bought the album when it debuted (Like Myself). Plus, I think that "Ms Kelly" was a really solid offering, beating most commercial R&B albums released this year, hands down.

Here is what will apparently be the album cover for the record (not confirmed), I have no track listings as of yet, but I will keep you posted, so keep it locked to Urban Review.

After Months Of Huge Anticipation, Finally It Seems That The Wheels Are Fully In Motion For "Mariah Carey's" Next Studio Album.

Speaking in an interview with "Singersroom", the R&B diva revealed that the title of the forthcoming record will be "Sweet Soul Odyssey". I will official feature production from longtime collaborator & friend "Jermaine Dupri", as well as "Swizz Beatz", "The Dream", "Will.i.am" & the unstoppable "Danja", to name just a few.

I cannot wait for the release of Mariah's next album, I don't believe she can possibly match the now classic "Emancipation Of Mimi", whether you like R&B or not, as a record it was pretty much flawless.

"Sweet Soul Odyssey" is set for release on December the 4th.

Here Is The New Video From UK R&B Artist "Anusha".

Born in Wales & educated in the same school as "Charlotte Church", Anusha contributes her love of music to her parents, who listened to a diverse mix of artists. While at university, Anusha was spotted by UK producer "Chris Patrick" who introduced her to the urban music scene.

Below is her debut video, which is Hot! This girl maybe what the UK has been looking for, she feels like a mix of "Jamelia" & "Misteeq", I will be keeping my eye on this one as she looks set to do well. Check Out The Video & Let Me Know What You Think?

Note: It's not just me backing Anusha, "Diddy" identified her as "One To Watch" after hearing this track.

Here Is The New Video For My Favourite Track At The Moment, "Alicia Keys'"; "No One".

At first listen, I wasn't sure about this one, but after having it on constant rotation I love this song, it has such a raw energy that Alicia is so good at. Her voice is so pure & perfect, I think she can match the best in the game, "Mary J", "Beyonce" or even "Mariah".

The video starts off a little boring, but develops a lot, until it almost seems like a party track. The video will do her some favours in increasing her appeal in the 'urban market', but I think she still has some work to do. Check Out The Video For Yourself & Let Me Know What You Think?

"Hate That I Love You" Is Set To Be The Next Single From "Rihanna".

The track was written by & features "Ne-Yo" & is a 'cheesy pop' song that is another sure fire hit for "Def Jam's" leading R&B stars. It is so additively catchy that you cannot help but sing, or hum along, but it still reminds me of a song from "Grease", it's just a little too much for me.

The video is pretty standard, Ne-Yo looking smooth, & Riri looking sexy. Check It Out Below & Let Me Know What You Think?

"Baby Love (download)" Is Now The Official 1st Single From "Nicole Scherzinger's" Debut Solo Album.

After the huge flop of "Whatever U Like", Nicole has pushed up her next song, she has already shot the video & released it to both US & UK radio, she has noted that this track is her favourite song from "Her Name Is Nicole".

Although I'm not a huge fan of the track, it will be a massive success on radio & in the charts. I much preferred the club banging beats of Whatever U Like, but everyone is after the 'pop market' at the moment, so what you gunna do!

Here Is A Hot Remix Of One Of The Hottest Tracks Of the Year, "J. Holiday's"; "Bed".

There are so many official remixes of this track, but this is by far the best in my opinion, it features "Nina Sky". This track has already had huge success in the US, & now it is heading to the UK & promises to do the same.

If you have been under a rock & haven't heard this track yet, take a listen below & let me know what you think?

Here Is A Top Notch Remix Of "50's" "I Get Money", A Track I Previously Disliked Has Been Brought To Life By Two Kings Of The Game.

Both "Diddy" & "Jay Z" have jumped on this remix, which has been dubbed the "Forbes" remix, due to all 3 artists being numbers 1 - 3 on the Forbes Hip-Hop Rich List. I am really liking this mix & am glad it has been getting airplay, much better than the original.

Just Short Of It's October 2nd Release Date, Here Is The Leak From 17 Year Old "Soulja Boy".

"Crank That" has still not hit UK shores, even though it has stormed the US, I don't know of any confirmed release date, but I think it would be crazy not to bring a sure fire hit to a bigger audience. However annoying it may be.

I don't hold much expectation for "Soulja Boy Tellem", but I will give it a listen, if any one would like to write a review, or give your opinion on the album, either drop me an email at: mark@urbanreview.co.uk or leave a comment below. I will give full credits on any material I publish.

Here Is The Next Single From Rapper "T.I"; "Hurt" Is Produced By The 'Unstoppable' "Danja" & Features Both "Busta Rhymes" & "Alfa Mega".

I'm not feeling "T.I vs T.I.P" as much as his earlier work, still this track is real solid, it's fast paced beat & flow are worked in well with T.I's sound. I'm sure this will do well with Urban Radio & clubs, while maybe not so well in the charts.

Loving the production on this one, "Timbaland" has done really well with Danja, maybe a little too well, I don't think it will be too long before he waves goodbye to "Mosley Music". Check Out The Track & See What You Think?
