Here Is A New Track That Has Leaked From "Chris Brown's" New Album; "Exclusive".

"Throwed", is a solid track with a very hot hook, although it suffers from the same 'Generic' sound as all his material, it is a very enjoyable track that will surely help Chris continue his commercial success & gain him a lot of mainstream fans.

I am not a massive fan of Chris, nor will I be grabbing his album, still his music is unavoidably catchy & I'm sure he will continue to pump out albums in the same style as "Rihanna" & other 'Hip-Pop' stars.

Superstar Songstress "Alicia Keys" Returns To The Music Scene With Her Third Studio Album "As I Am".

After the first single from the album; "No One" received such a huge reception, the release date for the As I Am has been confirmed on 3rd of November. I am loving As I Am at the moment, I have only been hearing good things about it & the album as a whole.

The record will feature confirmed contributions from; "John Mayer", "Linda Perry" & "Timbaland", & promises to be as big as her previous albums. After her show stopping performance at the "VMAs" last Sunday, it seems that the impossible has happened, Ms Keys has managed to improve her vocal ability even further.

Alicia has such power & energy in her voice that is electrifying, I cannot see her ever failing musically & she will be around for a long time to come. I cannot wait to hear the album & have had it on pre-order for a long time.

Check Out The Official Album Artwork Below, Plus the Confirmed Tracks (Not The Official Album Listing).

Are You Going To Grab A Copy Of "As I Am"
Let Me Know?

"Song's About Girls" Is The Third Studio Album From Super Producer "Will.i.am".

The artwork is a bit 'meh' if you know what I mean, Will is obviously a very creative guy & I was just expecting something a little cooler. The album promises to be good, with some hot collaborations expected from the likes of; "Slick Rick", "Busta Rhymes" & "Ludacris" to name a few.

Although "I Got It From My Mama" is a little plain, I'm hoping that the album tracks will be a lot more inventive, even if they don't make it to be singles. The album is set for release on September 25th, I will definitely be grabbing a copy. Check Out The Track Listings, Album Cover & Preview Clips Of Some Of The Tracks Premiered During An Interview With Will Below.

Looking Forward To The Album,
Let Me Know?

Here Is A Top UK Tune That I Am Really Loving At The Moment, While The Track Is Based On A Dance Rhythm, It Also Has A Throwback Sound from the UK 'Garage' Scene That Was Huge At The Beginning Of The Decade.

To be honest, I do not known anything about the artists involved, the track has been created by "T2" & features "Jodie Aysha" As my expertise is based in the Hip-Hop & R&B world, I no nothing of either artist, if any of you guys know about them, or any other tracks they have made, I would love to hear from you.

For now, check out the track, if you like the 'Garage' sound, or the modern dance scene, you wil love this one.

After Featuring "Fabolous" & His Current Single, Here Is His New Video.

"Baby Don't Go" is a pretty hot track, I am liking the feel of it already, accompanied by record producer "Jermaine Dupri" (although it was originally meant to be T-Pain), this is a sure fire hit for the rapper. I think that "From Nothin' To Somethin'" maybe the album that finally puts him on the mainstream map.

Feeling The Track,

Here Is The Current Single From Rap Star "Fabolous", It Has Been Around A Little While Now, But I'm Really Starting To Feel It, So I Thought I'd Post It.

Although the track is dominated & will probably be remembered as a "Ne-Yo" track, 'Fab' does his thing really well, his flow is ridiculous, this guy just has a natural talent to rap & he really doesn't get enough credit for it.

The track is 'made' by it's producer, "Timbaland", the power & energy of the production is so sick, I knew from the first listen that this was a Timbo track. If you haven't heard it yet, give the link below a click & let em know what you think?

Although Not Confirmed By The Record Label, "Hussel" Is Generally Regarded To Be The Next Single From UK Grime Artist "M.I.A".

This, in my opinion, is no where near the Pinnacle of M.I.A's album; "Kala", but it's still a very solid single, it's proud production is complimented well by the solid tones of "Afrikan Boy".

It's a shame that Kala has not seen the sales or chart positions that where predicted, this is a truly great album. The production, while not as 'Orthodox' as some mainstream artists, is so original & full of energy that it makes for a 'tripped out' sound that, as times, takes your breathe away.

If you are looking for mainstream beats & vocals, this is probably not for you, but if you appreciate original production & something a bit different, grab it now!

Let Me Know Your Thoughts?

Here Is The Final Video That I Will Be Posting From Sunday's "VMAs", It Is A Very Cool Dance Routine From "Chris Brown", With A Little Bit Of "Rihanna" Thrown In For Good Measure.

Brown emerged onto the stage & his performance was solid, some inspired dance moves, with some very poor 'lip syncing' made for a visual enjoyment. Chris Brown cannot sing, but boy can he dance, please note; Chris Brown, You Are Not "Michael Jackson", nor will you ever be him, I didn't really appreciate the "Billie Jean" bit at the end.

Rihanna's performance of "Umbrella" was pretty good, she still needs vocal work, but it was less 'jittery' than usual, I was slightly impressed. I'm just glad that her & Chris didn't do their rendition of "Cinderella", I hate that remix.

Grab the Performance Below & Check Out "Ashanti" jamming Along In The Crowd.

Like The Performance,
Let Me Know?

Yeah, This Track Has Been Around For Ages, But I Have To Finally Admit That There Is No Avoiding It, As It Is Now Going To Be Released In The UK On October 15th (not confirmed).

"Soulja Boy" has my nomination for 'annoyingly addictive track of the year', maybe after "Rihanna's Umbrella", he has already entered the record books as the second person, after "Sean Kingston", to have been born in the 1990's & reach number one in the "Billboard Hot #100".

Not One To Be Biased, I Thought It Was Worth Posting "50 Cent's" Performance Of "I Get Money" At "BET's 106 & Park".

Although "Kanye's version of Brother" was far better & this Fiddy track is pretty poor, I still appreciate that a lot of people love 50's music, & I was surprised by his album, so here you go:

Like The Performance,
Let Me Know?

As The Over Hyped, Over Worked, Over Planned Rivalry Of "50 Cent" & "Kanye West" Continues, Both Parties Were invited Into "BET's"; "106 & Park".

"MTV" also invited both artists to appear on "TRL" but Mr West declined, he has promised never to have dealings with them again after he received no awards at the recent "VMAs". [cough] Pathetic!

While in the studio, both Fiddy & Kanye performed a track from their respective albums, check out the video of Kanye with his 'Brother'; "Jay Z". I heard 'Ye describe this track as his "Best Material", I'm not quite convince to that extent but I like the song all the same, & the special guest appearance was a very cool addition.

Here's The Performance:

In other news, it appears that "Graduation" is outselling "Curtis" by over 100,000 copies, I don't believe for 1 second that Fiddy is going to quit music, I think the whole 'beef' situation is bull ishh.

This Is Currently Scheduled To Be The Debut Single From Up & Coming Star "Keri Hilson".

It has now been confirmed that the single version will feature both "Snoop" & ATL rapper "Ludacris", but this is the original leaked version featuring "Stat Quo".

The track is a club designed record with a wicked hook, hot production, a decent flow & nice vocal arrangements, still it doesn't show off Keri's vocal abilities as much as I would have liked.

I think that the decision of choosing this as the debut may be rethought, it's good but it just doesn't quite feel right as an introduction to what promises to be a huge album.

I have been backing this girl for so long now, I'm excited to hear the production on "In A Perfect World", the first & only joint venture between my two current favourite producers; "Timbaland" & "Polow Da Don".

Liking The Track,

Are You Feeling Keri's Sound,

To Continue The Huge Influx Of New Videos This Week, "Kanye" Has Premiered His New Video, Featuring 'Mr Auto Tuner'; "T-Pain".

The video is a little strange, although Kanye has never been plain, it doesn't do much to compliment the track, nor does it have that addictive quality like the video for "Stronger".

Still, It is good to finally see 'Mr West' moving on with his album, I know I heard Stronger weeks before it hit the radio, but damn that tracks getting old. Check Out The Video Below & Let Me Know What You Think Of It?

Liking The Video,

Here Is The Pinnacle Of the "VMAs" This Year, After Some Mediocre Performances From Some Artists, "Timbo" Did What He Does Best With The Closing Performance Of The Night.

With a medley of tracks produced by the 'Super Producer', we saw; "JT", "Nelly", "D.O.E", & Tim's Brother "Sebastian" all take to the stage, along with a performance I was dying to see; the gorgeous "Keri Hilson".

Keri performed well, with a shaky start, she recovered well with some good melodies & an on-point performance, which made me think; 'Britney Who?' This girl surpasses her in every way, I have backed her from the start & it won't be long now before she shows the world what she can do.

Did You See the Performance,
What Did You Think?

Here Is The Official Video To "Wyclef Jean's" Upcoming Single "Sweetest Girl", There Was A Spoof Vid On Rotation A Couple Of Weeks Ago, But Thankfully That Was Proved To Be Fake.

I have been loving this track for a long time now, & it has spread to most of my friends, I think it is going to be a major hit for 'Clef', which should give his new album a huge boost. I'm hoping this could be the start of a massive return for one third of the "Refugees".

The video itself is pretty standard for Wyclef, still it adds to the vibe of the track very well, maybe I was hoping for something a little different, but it serves it's purpose. His new album; "The Carnival II: Memoirs of an Immigrant" is set for release in November.

Check Out The Vid Below & Let Me Know If Your Feeling It?

Feeling The Video,
What About The Track,

Here Is the Video Premiere For "Kelly Rowland's" New US Single, "Ghetto".

The track features an old favorite of the colab, "Snoop Dogg" & is set to be the start of a re-release campaign for her ill-fated album; "Ms Kelly". I don't agree with re-releases at all, if an album is not ready, Do Not Put It Out There! The original was strong enough to take on anything in the R&B world at the moment, if it were managed & promoted better it may have succeeded.

Anyway, the video for Ghetto is pretty hot, there are some moments that don't quite cut it, but the feel & style is pretty solid. Check It Out & Let Me Know What You Think?

Finally, Found A Video That Hasn't Been taken Down, Here Is Te 'Show Stopping' Performance From "Alicia Keys".

This is the definitive performance from last nights awards, I am really feeling "No One" & can't wait for her album to drop. It seems a shame that someone with the capabilities of Alicia was on top form, while the travesty of "Britney Spears" got all the hype.

Check Out The Video Below & Let Me Know What You Think?

Liking The Track, What About The Performance,

After Seeing "Britney's" Terrible Performance Last Night, It Reminded Me Of A Piece I Saw On "Family Guy".

Fans of the show will probably already be aware of it, but if you haven't yet seen it, prepare to laugh. Watching it again, it amazed me just how badly their were right, especially by the end when she 'crashes & burns', literally... Ha!

What Do You Think,
Too Far, Or Spot On?

VMAs 2007, Winners...

Posted In: , , . By M@rk

Well... The "VMAs" Have Been, Gone & Were As Disappointing As Ever, I Really Thought "MTV" May Have Got There Act Together For This Year But Apparently Not.

Still, there were a few good performances & as predicted by myself, "Britney" f*ck'd up like a professional. It comes to something when a performer can't even 'lip sync', her choreography was boring & rigid, & she looked like an out of date stripper.

Here is the full list of winners from last nights awards:

Monster Single Of The Year - "Rihanna - Umbrella"

Quadruple Threat Of The Year - "Justin Timberlake"

Best Collaberation Of The Year - "Beyonce ft. Shakira - Beautiful Liar"

Male Artist Of The Year - "Justin Timberlake"

Female Artist Of the Year - "Fergie"

Best Group - "Fall Out Boy"

Best New Artist - "Gym Class Heroes"

Video Of The Year - "Rihanna - Umbrella"

Best Choreography - "Justin Timberlake - My Love"

Best Director - "Samuel Bayer" (Justin Timberlake - What Goes Around)

Best Editor - "Ken Mowe" (Gnarls Barkley - Smiley Faces)

As mentioned, there were some performances that I liked, but I know for a fact that MTV will be on the war path today, ripping down the vids from "YouTube" ETC. So I will be posting my favourites throughout the week, if you have any suggestions for which performance were the best, & why, then please leave a comment & I will try & get them posted.

Did You See The VMAs,
Which Performance Was Best?

After Running My Vote To See Who You Guy's Think Are The Hottest Female Artists Around, The Results Are In.

Throughout, there has only been two contenders for the title, but with a majority of only 1% "Beyonce" beats "Rihanna" to gain the award for the 'Hottest Chick In The Game'.

While B often gets slammed by critics for pumping out singles too quickly, it is evident that she still holds love from the people & will continue to reign as 'Queen Of R&B' for some time to come.

Next, I want your opinion on a straight battle between two albums, yeah you guessed it, "Kanye West's - Graduation" VS "50 Cent's - Curtis". I have had so many comments on who you guys think is better, but I want a fair vote to see who you think is the current 'King Of Hip-Hop'.

I have heard both albums & am almost ready to give my opinion in my reviews, expect them sometime in the coming week.

Here Is A Track That I Have Been Really Enjoying Over The Past Few Weeks, I Am Aware It Is Not New, But Considering Over Half My Readers Are Not From The UK, Chances Are You Haven't Heard Of This Guy. Yet!

Introducing "Taio Cruz", the UK's version "Ne-Yo". Taio started his musical life as a producer & songwriter, he is part of the group that wrote "Rihanna's" world-wide smash "Umbrella" & requested the track to be signed to him for his forthcoming album "The Movie", it was put on hold for him, until "Jay Z" came knocking.

Disappointed with the state of the UK R&B scene (it really doesn't exist), he moved onto producing for US artists, until coming to the realisation that he could write, produce & perform his own material far better than anyone else could.

Here Taio is with his video for "Moving On", take a look & keep on the look out for this guy, he is hot property.

Preview: VMA's 2007...

Sorry About The Lack Of Posts Of Late, There Really Is Nothing Much Going Down In The Music World, Maybe Everyone Is Poised For The "VMA's".

As you probably already know, this year they are due to be held in Las Vegas, tonight, with the usual line up that "MTV" has the power to draw. As well as the return of "Britney Spears" (Performing the "Danja" produced "Gimme More"), there will be a huge line up including the following:

While I think most of the awards are just a joke & MTV still awards pop acts over talented ones, it should still make a mega show with a few good artists performing (Timbo, Alicia Keys etc). I will be tuning in to see if anyone but Alicia performs live & just how badly Britney can f*ck up.

Will You Be Watching The VMAs,

Let Me Know?
