Finally, I Didn't Think It Was Going To Happen, But The UK Finally Gets Another "Kelis" Track.

"Blindfold Me" features rapper superstar & Kelis' husband "Nas", it's got one 'mutha' of a beat & fast paced, sexy lyrics. I love this track & am so happy to see it is being released in the UK, since the US release was so long ago.

It's a real shame that this album flopped so badly, "Kelis Was Here" was one of my favourite albums of 2006, such slick, varied production, with so much attitude & style from Kelis, if you really 'get' this album, it is something special.

Check Out The Video Below, & Let Me Know If You Like It Or Not, Will Be Interesting To Hear Your Opinions?

Nas & Kelis... MTV Show...

As You May Have Heard, & As I Have Mentioned Before, Kelis & Nas Have An Upcoming Reality Show Coming Up.

Here is a short clip of the show, it's not much, but it gives the feeling that the show will focus more on the life of Kelis. Many people have pointed out that MTV shows bring bad luck for celeb couples, i.e. Nick & Jessica (The Newlyweds), but I don't think that will be the case with Kelis & Nas.

I can't wait for the show to air in the UK, there is a truth that people don't seem to see about Kelis. I think she is one of the best female recording artists in the WORLD, her talent as a producer is unique, plus her raspy vocals are a fantastic, she is most definately one of my favourite artists at the moment. Plus, her attitude & personality are both huge, I think this show will be a hit & will do good for both of them.

Check out my review of her current album here.
(I am feeling that I should have given it 5 stars now... I Absolutely Love It)

TUNE...

Just Though I Would Post This Tune, As I'm Really Feeling This Track Lately.

It is by Kelis ft. Spragga Benz & is taken from her quality album "Kelis Was Here", almost definately the best track from th album but sadly not available on the US version of the record.

Anyways, definately give it a listen (but don't download it, that would be illegal & WRONG), let me know what you think of it...

From the offset, you can feel the unique styling of Kelis all over this record, from the first single "Bossy" I thought that this was something a bit special, despite the views of critics, this album is full of Hot, top notch production from the likes of Cool & Dre, Linda Perry, will.i.am, Kelis herself & loud mouthed Scott Storch took time from his dissin' of Timbo to have a go at production.

Some of the lyrics are a little questionable & "I Don't Think So" being a personal annoyance as a very childish, pop orientated track. But, this should not & will not put you off of a great album from a unique artist.

"Fire" is the definite highlight of this album, with it's infectious beats & stunning rhythm, if this is not released as a single, it will be a crime, this track is so Hot & should be shared.

All in all, this is a quality piece of material from a truly unique & understated artist, definitely one of my pics of the year, almost up there with Justin's work & surpasses Beyonces material of late, most definitely one for the club, or if your like me, one for the car.

**** 4 Stars
