Scream Is Set To Be The Fourth World Release From Timbaland's Masterpiece Album; Shock Value.

If you have not ever heard this track, you will have to give it a few listens but if you are not hooked in the end, maybe you should be listening to a different genre of music. Scream has slick production, a catchy hook & some sexy vocals from both
Keri Hilson & the gorgeous Nicole Scherzinger.

Although not my first choice from Shock Value it's still solid. I can't wait for a video to be shot, Damn! That is going to be hot. For now, check out the album version of the track below, I'm thinking th radio edit won't include Timbo's sleazy set at the end.

In What Is The Best News I Have Heard In A Long Time, It Is Rumored Super Producer "Timbaland" Is Already Hard At Work On His Next Album. 'Working Title' "Shock Value II".

While "Shock Value" has done extraordinarily well in the US & Europe. I felt that the single releases are moving very slowly, this to me was a sign that Tim wouldn't work on a follow up for some years to come.

But, while being appearing at "Kiis FM's" homecoming concert he told fans that he had already recorded tracks with "Akon", "Gwen Stefani" & "Linkin Park". This is fantastic news, Shock Value was my best all round album of this year & Tim is my favorite artist in the game.

My Favorite Performance Of The Evening From Last Weeks "Fashion Rocks" Show Was Most Definitely "Timbo".

He performed his international smash hit record "The Way I Are", most importantly for me it was a chance to hear a live joint by "Keri Hilson". Keri gave a good show with a few questionable vocal abilities, but still she seemed confident & hit just about every note, can't wait for this girl to blow!

As it was a fashion show, obviously the artists' appearance was important, Tim looked very dapper, while Keri pulled off a very sexy outfit with good grace & style.

While "Miss Keys" s Currently Enjoying Huge Success With Her Current Smash Single; "No One", She Is Already Prepping The Release Of Her Next Track.

"Like You'll Never See Me Again" is a slow jam from Alicia, set to be the next singe from her soon to be released album; "As I Am". The "Timbo" produced track is sort of what you would expect from Alicia, it seems to have a longevity to it IMO, not an instant classic, but I'm thinking it will be a grower.

Apparently, the video has already been shot for this track & with her album due on the 13th(US) of November, it all seems to be moving quite fast for the R&B star. Although Timbaland has always been my favorite producer, & I would never doubt a single move he makes, this track is a very welcome change from his normal 'club bangers'.

EDIT - THIS IS APPARENTLY NOT PRODUCED BY TIMBO... MY SOURCES WERE WRONG FOR ONCE - IT IS ACTUALLY PRODUCED BY ALICIA HERSELF & HER PARTNER KERRY BROTHERS. THANKS TO 'DODGYC' FOR LETTING ME KNOW

Are You Feeling This Track,

Better Than The Last,

Let Me Know Your Thought?

I Know This Is Not Exactly 'News'; "Apologize" Has Been Doing The Rounds For Ages Now, But I Just Couldn't Leave The Video Without My Own Special Opinion On It.

In short, I Don't like it. I am a little annoyed that they did not make more of this song, it is such a brilliant track, very unlike a "Timbo" song, & with the right video, it could have been 'Epic'. Obviously, Tim is trying to introduce "One Republic" to the mainstream world, that seemed to be the very point of the song.

Still, I wanted an inspiring, expensive video, some artistic imagery with some over the top, emotional, first clenching drama. It is not normally what I go for, but it seems so obvious to me that when I saw this, I was sorely disappointed.

The Recent "VH1 Hip-Hop Honors" Held A Tribute To One Of The Greats Of Modern Urban Music; "Missy Elliott".

The performance accumulated some of Missy's greatest hits into a medley performed by past Elliott collaborators including genius producer "Timbaland", "Nelly Furtado", "Eve", "Fat Man Scoop", "Ciara", "Tweet" & "Keyshia Cole".

Missy is one of my favorite artists, I love her strange sense of style, her distinctive flow & her natural ability to push the boundaries of modern music. I cannot wait for her to reunite with Timbaland (the greatest Hip-Hop partnership ever IMO) on her new album; " ", which is due .

Here Is The Current Single From Rap Star "Fabolous", It Has Been Around A Little While Now, But I'm Really Starting To Feel It, So I Thought I'd Post It.

Although the track is dominated & will probably be remembered as a "Ne-Yo" track, 'Fab' does his thing really well, his flow is ridiculous, this guy just has a natural talent to rap & he really doesn't get enough credit for it.

The track is 'made' by it's producer, "Timbaland", the power & energy of the production is so sick, I knew from the first listen that this was a Timbo track. If you haven't heard it yet, give the link below a click & let em know what you think?

This Is Currently Scheduled To Be The Debut Single From Up & Coming Star "Keri Hilson".

It has now been confirmed that the single version will feature both "Snoop" & ATL rapper "Ludacris", but this is the original leaked version featuring "Stat Quo".

The track is a club designed record with a wicked hook, hot production, a decent flow & nice vocal arrangements, still it doesn't show off Keri's vocal abilities as much as I would have liked.

I think that the decision of choosing this as the debut may be rethought, it's good but it just doesn't quite feel right as an introduction to what promises to be a huge album.

I have been backing this girl for so long now, I'm excited to hear the production on "In A Perfect World", the first & only joint venture between my two current favourite producers; "Timbaland" & "Polow Da Don".

Here Is The Pinnacle Of the "VMAs" This Year, After Some Mediocre Performances From Some Artists, "Timbo" Did What He Does Best With The Closing Performance Of The Night.

With a medley of tracks produced by the 'Super Producer', we saw; "JT", "Nelly", "D.O.E", & Tim's Brother "Sebastian" all take to the stage, along with a performance I was dying to see; the gorgeous "Keri Hilson".

Keri performed well, with a shaky start, she recovered well with some good melodies & an on-point performance, which made me think; 'Britney Who?' This girl surpasses her in every way, I have backed her from the start & it won't be long now before she shows the world what she can do.

Here Is Another Official Remix To "Timbaland's" Smash Hit "The Way I Are".

This one has been remixed by "One Republic" who feature on Tim's next single "Apologize"(Not Confirmed), it is a solid remix with an darker feel to it than the original. It's extra verse reworked production are sure to take the track even further, as if it needed it!

Entrepreneur Rapper "Jay Z" Has Topped The "Forbes" Hip-Hop Rich List, Beating The Likes Of "Diddy" & "50 Cent". Check Out The Top #10 Below.

1. Jay-Z $34 million
2. 50 Cent $32 million
3. Diddy $28 million
4. Timbaland $21 million
5. Dr. Dre $20 million
6. Eminem $18 million
7. Snoop Dogg $17 million
8. Kanye West $17 million
9. Pharrell Williams $17 million
10. Scott Storch $17 million

After a year of top deals for Jay Z, including the sale of his "Rocawear" fashion line & Platinum selling comeback album "Kingdom Come", it is no surprise that he sits, firmly at the top of the rich list. Surprisingly, 'fiddy' has taken the number #2 spot from "Bad Boy" Diddy, who normally rivals for the top position.

After a fantastic year, "Timbo" stands proudly at number #4, I think it's great to see so many producers in the list, considering they pretty much make every record we hear on the radio, it's good to see them enjoying the pay cheques. If "Mosley Music" continues it's growth into the market, maybe one day he could take the top spot, only time will tell.

One thing the list lacks is a female presence, there are few ladies in the Hip-Hop market that could ever realistically enter the list, maybe it's time for "Missy" to take up the challenge.

What Do You Make Of The List's Positions,

Here Is The Track That I Think Is One Of The Hottest Records In The World Right Now.

It comes from a new-ish group who you may not have heard of. "The DEY" are a trio who fuse Latino, R&B & Hip-Hop sounds together to produce something quite unique, maybe the only other artists you could compare them to could be "The Fugees" or "The Black Eyed Peas".

I heard this track a little while back & have absolutely fallen in love with it. The "Timbaland" produced "Get The Feeling" is uber cool, it's sick beat complimented by the vocal talent & quick, slick flow of The DEY is perfect.

The DEY's debut album is due later this year, can't wait to hear more from them, hoping they won't be a one hit wonder.

What Do You Think Of The Track,

Here Is The Hot New "50 Cent" Video For "Ayo Technology".

Originally titled "She Wants It" (As Posted Previously), this is the best track I have heard from 'Fiddy's' new album, probably because of the "Timbaland" influence. The track also features "Justin Timberlake" who's 'squeaky' vocals add a positive element to the record, it makes 50 actually 'rap' instead of his usual monotone moaning.

The video itself is very sexy, the "Minority Report" inspired theme is very hot. I think this track will actually inspire some interest in "Curtis", because so far it has been full of mediocre crap. But who knows, I may grow to like it, although I can't believe it will be as good as "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'".

"M.I.A - Kala"

Posted In: , , , , , , . By M@rk

Multi-Genre Artist "M.I.A" Returns With Here Second Album, & It Is Just As Bizarre As The First.

The British born star is currently prepping the release of "Kala", which features production from my two favourite producers; "Timbaland" & "Bangladesh", I have managed to obtain & leaked copy & have given it a listen.

The predominantly 'electronic' album is full of rich beats & sometimes 'eerie' sounds, which accumulate in an album that is strangely addictive. Highlights include; "Bird Flu", "Boyz" & "Come Around" which is also featured on Timbaland's UK release of "Shock Value".

This is definately not for the mainstream audience, but M.I.A has always acquired a devoted, cult following who will surely enjoy this offering, I am a fan of her innovation & love the different, unique sound that she always produces. This is not normally my 'sort' of album, but I still enjoyed listening to it & will continue to do so for some time to come.

Personally, I would like to see M.I.A & Tim do a full album together as this combination offers the best from both parties, the Tim produced tracks are generally the better ones from the album & provide that 'listen again' factor that I really like.

I Urge You To Give The Album A listen, It's Strange, 'Mystic' Sounds Are Something Very Different. I Would Love To know What You Guys Make of It.

For Some Time Now, I Have Been Promoting Up & Coming R&B Star "Keri Hilson".

Now best known for her collaboration on "Timbo's" current smash hit "The Way I Are", she has been writing for stars across the world for a few years now & is preparing for her debut release "In A Perfect World". As a main part of writing & producing group "The Clutch" she is responsible for some of the past years top tunes, including "Ludacris - Runaway Love" & "Omarion - Ice Box".

24 year old Hilson is hot because, in her own words:
"I may have written your favorite song".
In a recent interview with "MTV" she revealed she has been working with Timbaland (Obviously) & "Palow Da Don". Both producers contributed to her debut album, as well as collaborations with "Snoop Dogg" & "Justin Timberlake". Talking about the Timberlake track, Keri says:
"It's so dope. I'm about to say too much. I'm gonna leave some to the imagination, but the song is incredible".

I really cannot wait to her some more solo material from Hilson, apart from a short clip with Timbo, we have nothing. While she is signed to "Mosley Music", which is a smallish label, I still think this girl has the potential to take over the R&B world. Apart from being drop-dead gorgeous, she is also supremely talented & I for one will keep reporting on her every step until she is in her rightful place at the top.

In A Perfect World Is Currently Penned For Release Later This Year, I Urge You To Grab A Copy & Get In On The Ground Floor.

What Do You Make Of Hilson,
Love To Know What You Guys Think?

This Is The 3rd Single Slated For Release From "Fiddy's" New Album "Curtis".

The "Timbaland" produced record is a more up tempo track than we are used to from 50, this in turn forces him to flow much faster than he usually does, this is a good thing. Finally 50 shows us that he can actually rap, rather than just talk in a monotone voice.

However, it does still suffer from the usual Curtis subject matter, sex, with "Justin's" hook being about 'Technology' (Pornography). It would be great to hear 50 rap about something that wasn't 'hoes & cars' for once, I want another "Hate It Or Love It", not another "Candy Shop".

This Is A Remix To The Brand New Single "The Way I Are" From "Timbaland", Which Will Feature As A B-Side On The Release.

Danish Rock Band "Nephew" have been given the task of matching what is already a huge track & they have pulled it off quite well. This track has a real 'Rock' feel to it & almost changes the genre of the whole track, with new vocals & new instrumentals it is definately worth a listen.

In A Sad & Somewhat Surprising Statement, Production God "Timbaland" Has Announced That He Is Soon Looking To "Throw In The Towel".

In a recent interview he is quoted as saying: "I'm about to de-crown myself and pass it over to one of the up-and-coming producers under me. They won't be able to be me - there's only one Timbaland - but there's a certain sound that I try to teach."
His reasons behind his intended retirement:
“Music is boring right now. I'm too innovative for the world. I've been doing it so long"

This is really not a good thing for music, Timbaland is the greatest producer in the world, period. His style & innovative beats cannot be matched by anyone, his work with "Aaliyah" is some of the best contemporary R&B ever created, & his "Missy" production is so cool it is beyond words.

Tim has spoken about his boredom of music before but I never thought that he would retire now that he has become so popular with mainstream audiences. Admittedly he never seemed 'content' with what he was doing, I always expected more from Timbo, this almost seems like his is giving up, rather than trying to change the sound of music.

At least he is not on the way out yet, he has work penned with "Madonna", "Muse" & at least one more album with Missy Elliott among others. I don't believe this is the end for Tim, I think he will move on from producing to work on his record label, "Mosley Music" has the potential to be the next "Bad Boy" or "Def Jam", just wait for "Keri Hilson".

Long Live The King.

Here Is A Snippet Of A Brand Spanking New Track From Up & Coming Star "Keri Hilson".

Sorry about the crappy quality & the lack of details about this track, but basically Keri is part of "Mosley Music", which is headed by "Timbaland", she features heavily on Tim's current album, & will hopefully have her debut album out later this year.

I am predicting very big things for this girl & would love to see her be the next big thing, it's very exciting to hear any material from her, no matter how bad the sound quality, check it out & let me know if your feeling Keri?

What Do You Make Or Keri?

Thought I Would Bring You Guys Another 'FlashBack'.

This time it comes from one of the most influential artists of our generation, "Jay-Z", the track was also produced from the most influential producer ever, Mr Mosley himself, "Timbaland".

I think that this is one of the hottest beats to ever be created, it's distinctive sound is instantly recognisable & will be a classic Timbo beat forever. A real pick up track that never fails to make you wanna move.
