Kisean Anderson, now far better known as "Sean Kingston" is a rapper / singer from Jamaica, his debut single "Beautiful Girls" has been a huge smash hit in both the US & UK, my first thoughts were 'one hit wonder'. But to my surprise his self titled album is so solid, contains so much promise & talent, that I can see Sean being a real star of the urban scene for many years to come.

The album itself, produced by "Jonathan Rotem" (referred to throughout as 'J.R'), is a strong, constant album, from first listen I was so surprised. I could not believe this was a debut, one of the best debuts I have ever heard, it does not have a bad track, period. The record only contains a few collaborations, this is definately a plus, it shows Kingston's confidence as a person and a perform, it also let's us hear his potential, not even "Snoop" makes an appearance, lol.

The best tracks on the album are debatable, simply because there are so many. "Kingston" is a very hot track with Sean playing a very powerful role, the production is top quality & it has a extremely sick beat. The debut single "Beautiful Girls" is a very radio friendly track, it has a cool summer vibe, but doesn't show Sean as a 'respectable' artist. The best track for me by far is "Dry Your Eyes", which is dedicated to Sean's mother who is currently in jail. This track is both emotional while remaining very strong in production, lyrics & vocals, it shows Sean as a really strong artist, a definate favourite that I urge you to listen to.

Down sides to the album are very few & far between. There is a certain air of 'pop' to this album, that I felt was not needed, it will obviously allow Sean to reach a radio audience, but I think the record is so strong that it did not require tracks like "Me Love" or "There's Nothing". It feels to me as though he was almost forced into these songs, as they don't have the same flow or energy as some of the other tracks.

Overall, this is a huge record, I really recommend it, it is the perfect summer album. Sean manages to take us deep & shows us a very serious, determined young artist, while still giving that 'feel good factor' that makes the record very listener friendly.

I cannot stress enough just how much this album shocked me, not just how professional it is, but how much potential is inside Kingston, he will remain on the scene for a long time to come, I am sure of it. This CD has not left my playlist since I first heard it, go out & grab this record. You will not be disappointed.

**** - 4 Stars

Yet Another Track Has Leaked From The Highly Anticipated New Album From "Swizz Beatz".

"Part Of The Plan" features "Chris Martin" & is a slower tempo track with some good production from Swizzy, it seems to me that Swizz is taking a more of a 'rapper' role for his new album, which is a bit of a disappointment to me.

I am feeling the "Timbo" method, of taking a more backseat role as a producer, while having top name & new talent providing the vocals. The edition of Chris Martin to this track does give it some cool vocals, but he is not exactly Hip-Hop, frankly, the guy annoys the hell out of me.

Still, this is a solid track from what promises to be a solid album, Swizz has always impressed me with his innovative beats, & I hope "One Man Band Man" will be one to remember.

Here Is New Leak From Sexy R&B Star "Jennifer Lopez".

An earlier track "Hold It Don't Drop It" was leaked last month, but didn't get a great response, so as if by magic, here she is with a new track. I'm not really loving either of them, both have middle of the road production, same mid to high tempo rhythm & both share the same 'respectable' vocals from J-Lo.

Maybe I'm wrong & I'll grow to like "Do It Well", but at the moment I'm just not feeling it. I quite like some earlier Lopez material, "J To tha L-O" was a pretty solid record, maybe she should look at why she used to be so successful & go back to it. Still, it will be interesting to hear her new album "Brave" when it drops in October.

After Hearing A Recent Interview With Record Producer (Beyonce's Father) "Matthew Knowles", It Seems That R&B Super group "Destiny's Child" May Reunite.

In his interview, Matthew is quoted as saying:

"But she's (Beyonce) a hard troop and all of the Destiny's Child ladies are.
I'm proud of her and all of the ladies.
I'm using this word "Destiny's Child" cause that could be the day so Destiny's Child album is coming soon.
I don't know, did I just said it?"

This is not the first time I have heard rumours of a DC comeback, but it is the first time, anyone this senior has mentioned it. I think it is a brilliant idea, although "Beyonce's" solo career goes from strength to strength, & "Kelly" keeps up quite well, they are a far stronger force together.

Their record selling power is unbelievable, plus they are a group who actually have some talent, B's vocals are very strong, Kelly has a flow & unique sound, while "Michelle" brings a 'Gospel' quality. Only time will tell whether or not it's true, or whether it's a nice ploy to promote all the ladies careers?

Yet Another Samie Track From "Ne-Yo", But I Can't Help But Like It.

Ne-Yo manages to do it time after time, he releases a track that sounds exactly like every other track he has ever done, but then after 3 or 4 listens, your hooked. Not one to break a habit, here he is with his next single from "Because Of You".

"Can We Chill" is a track I'm already repeating over in my head, it's catchy hook & smooth lyrics make for a perfect summer track, though maybe it's even a little too cheesy for Ne-Yo's standards. I think maybe he should have released this instead of "Because Of You", which I was never a huge fan of, give it a listen & see what you think.

Here Is The Track That I Think Is One Of The Hottest Records In The World Right Now.

It comes from a new-ish group who you may not have heard of. "The DEY" are a trio who fuse Latino, R&B & Hip-Hop sounds together to produce something quite unique, maybe the only other artists you could compare them to could be "The Fugees" or "The Black Eyed Peas".

I heard this track a little while back & have absolutely fallen in love with it. The "Timbaland" produced "Get The Feeling" is uber cool, it's sick beat complimented by the vocal talent & quick, slick flow of The DEY is perfect.

The DEY's debut album is due later this year, can't wait to hear more from them, hoping they won't be a one hit wonder.
