Here Is The Brand New Video From The 'Greatest Rapper Alive'; Mr "Jay Z".

As previously reported, this track is from his new album; "American Gangster", which has been made to accompany a movie of the same name, although it Will Not be the soundtrack CD. At first, I was skeptical of this track, it does not have that 'first play appeal' of some J tracks, but I now like it more & more with every listen.

The video really incorporates what I expect to be the theme of the album, Jay Z was one of the original Hip-Hop 'Gangsta' & this look serves him well. Both Jay & P are looking on-point, this is a very slick video that I am loving.

Feeling The New Jay Video,
Let Me Know?

The Self Proclaimed 'Greatest Rapper Alive', "Jay Z" Recently Announced That He Is Working On A New Album, Due For Release In November.

Entitled "American Gangster", the record will be released to coincide with the release of a new movie of the same name. Although the album won't be a soundtrack CD, Jay said that he felt compelled to make the album after seeing the film, because he thought that some elements mirrored his own life.

This is the first song to leak from the album, called "Blue Magic", the track is produced by & features long-term collaborator "Pharrell Williams". The song is OK, but nothing to special, sounds like an album track to me, although not confirmed yet, it does appear that this will in fact be the first single.

Definitely one to watch for the future, keep it locked to Urban Review for any updates.

Here Is A Bonus Track Featured On The Retail Version Of "Kanye's" Soon To Be Released Album; "Graduation".

Although not as solid as some of the tracks, this is still a pretty cool sound, definately not a single but pretty cool none the less. This one features long time friends "
Lupe" & "Pharrell", it's a little slow but would sound good as the 'closer' on the album. Let Me Know What You Make Of It?

Liking It, Or Leaving It,

Let Me Know?

After Along Time Away From The Limelight As A Solo Artist, "Twista" Returns With Some New Material.

Teaming up with "Pharrell Williams" to both feature & produce the track; "Give It Up" is a 'so so' track with some nice beats. The "Hype" directed video is a rip of "Kanye's" "Gold Digger", which is also directed by Hype, this may be intentional, but if it isn't; did he really think people wouldn't make comparisons?

Either way, the both the video & track are pretty hot, nothing groundbreaking here, but enjoyable none the less.
