News comes today that Platinum selling R&B star Brandy is being sued by the family of a woman killed in a car accident involving the artist. The accident occured on Dec 30th 2006, when traffic slowed on a busy freeway in Los Angeles USA Brandy failed to react quickly enough, this resulted in her Land Rover hitting the car driven by Awatef Aboundihaj. The car was shunted accross the road into the path of another vehicle which resulted in the death of the victim.

California Highway Patrol reports also recommend that Brandy should be charged with misdemeanour vehicular manslaughter, which could result in a 1 year jail sentence for the Grammy winning artist.
